Semi-Private Class - Introduction & Open Projects

Level: All levels! Beginners and more experienced sewists work together comfortably.

Objectives: Learn the basics of sewing or make progress on a personal project — all while enjoying quality time with friends or loved ones in a friendly, supportive environment.

Duration: 3 hours. Please note: Sewing takes time… Depending on your project, multiple sessions may be needed.

Materials: Bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours. Fabrics and supplies are included for making samples and creating a small pouch. For more complex projects or altering existing garments, please bring your own materials.

Price: $70 per participant (taxes included)

Minimum 2 participants (2 to 5 participants per class)

This class will be taught in French or English according to your preference. 

What you'll learn: A private 3-hour workshop to learn sewing in a welcoming atmosphere, surrounded by friends or loved ones. This class is designed for everyone, with or without experience, who wants personalized support to:

• Discover how a sewing machine works
• Learn basic patternmaking
• Create a garment or accessory from a pattern or idea
• Adjust a pattern to your measurements
• Repair or transform a garment

Each person progresses at their own pace, supported by a passionate instructor. It’s a time of sharing, creativity, and joyful learning together!
