Create a Sample Book - Level 2: Pockets, Elastics and Shirt Details

Level: I know how to thread and use a sewing machine. I have made at least one project. I attended the Make a Sample Book Level 1 class.

Objectives: Learn the right techniques to add style to my project with pockets, elastics and collar. Create a sample book to which I can refer following the course.

Duration: 5 lessons / 3 hours per lesson / 1 lesson per week / total of 15 hours

Materials: You will have access to one of our sewing machines, our tutorial and our tools. We will provide pre-cut fabrics for all your samples, as well as notions if needed.

What you’ll learn: You will make several samples and learn many techniques, tips and finishes that will allow you to better achieve the stylistic details of your project, such as pockets, elastics and shirt collar. Throughout the courses, you will discover different types of pockets (applied, side, denim, piped and seam) and elastics (sliding, picot, stretch band, stretch bias, smocks...) as well as a button-down collar.

This course follows a well-structured format, which makes it difficult to arrange make-up sessions. Being present and on time for each class will greatly enhance your learning experience and is sincerely appreciated. :)
